The kitchen's old sliding window had aged, with poor sealing and operation. During a renovation the owner changed the sliding window to a casement window for better ventilation and sealing. Amgen removed the old sliding window, measured and custom-made and installed a new casement aluminium window with silicone waterproofing. As alteration work involving the wall structure, it is Class II Minor Works compliant.
